When you first speak with Danny Dinh, it’s clear his approach to health isn’t theoretical. It’s grounded in real-life discipline, service, and a deep understanding of what the body and mind can endure. As co-founder of Better Life Lab, Danny has turned his experiences – from serving in Iraq to studying cellular health – into a mission to help people live stronger, more focused lives.
We spoke with Danny about his journey, the science behind Better Life Lab, and what’s next for the fast-growing wellness brand.
What experiences or moments in your life inspired you to focus on health and ultimately create Better Life Lab?
There were a few defining moments that pushed me toward health and ultimately led to creating Better Life Lab.
The first was during my time serving in Iraq, where I saw firsthand how much discipline, resilience, and health mattered – not just physically, but mentally. Watching soldiers push through exhaustion and stress made me realize how critical it is to care for the body at its deepest level.
After returning home and facing my own health challenges, I started studying cellular health, energy, and longevity. I wanted to feel sharper, stronger, and more present – for my family and the people I serve.
When COVID hit and our nonprofit TongueOut couldn’t send medical missions overseas, I wanted to keep that mission alive – to keep helping people live better lives. That’s when Better Life Lab was born, alongside my partner Ray, a serial entrepreneur who shared the same vision of creating products that truly make a difference.
At its core, Better Life Lab was built on a lesson I learned early on: when you have your health, you have the strength to serve, lead, and live fully.
What motivated you to start the company, and what problem were you hoping to solve in the wellness market?
We started Better Life Lab because we saw a big gap in the wellness market – products with bold promises but little science or purpose behind them. We wanted to change that.
Our goal was to create doctor-formulated supplements that actually work – backed by real research, clean ingredients, and a mission to give back through our nonprofit TongueOut.
At the core, Better Life Lab was built to help people think clearer, feel stronger, and live with more energy – not just to sell supplements, but to improve lives with purpose.
Many brands talk about being science-backed. How does Better Life Lab put that idea into real practice?
A lot of brands say they’re “science-backed,” but for us, it’s real. Every formula at Better Life Lab is created with our medical team – Dr. James, a Yale-trained neurosurgeon, and Dr. Tom, a pharmacist. We focus on clinical dosing, purity, and ingredient synergy – not marketing trends.
Before a product launches, we review the latest research, test for safety and quality, and make sure it delivers real results people can feel. That’s how we turn science into everyday performance.
Methylene Blue has become your standout product. What drew you to it, and how do you make sure it meets the highest standards of safety and quality?
Methylene Blue stood out to us because it’s one of the most researched compounds for cellular energy, brain function, and longevity – yet most products on the market lacked transparency and quality.
We wanted to change that. At Better Life Lab, every batch is pharmaceutical-grade, third-party tested, and made in GMP-certified, ISO-accredited labs. We verify purity, potency, and safety from start to finish – no shortcuts.
Our goal was simple: make the cleanest, most effective Methylene Blue on the market – one people can actually trust.
Your products are built around natural ingredients and scientific precision. How do you keep that balance in your formulations?
We believe nature provides the blueprint – and science helps us perfect it. At Better Life Lab, we start with clinically studied natural ingredients and then fine-tune each formula with precise dosing and lab testing to maximize safety and results.
Every product goes through medical review by Dr. James and Dr. Tom, ensuring that what we create is both natural and scientifically optimized – pure, effective, and backed by real research.
In simple terms, how do your supplements help people feel sharper and more energetic in their daily lives?
Our supplements help your body make more cellular energy – the fuel your brain and muscles run on. When your cells work better, you think clearer, focus longer, and recover faster.
It’s not about quick fixes – it’s about helping your body perform the way it’s meant to, so you feel sharper, stronger, and more alive every day.
What’s been the biggest challenge in building and growing Better Life Lab, and what have you learned from the process?
The biggest challenge has been earning trust – in a market full of hype and misinformation. We had to prove that science, transparency, and results still matter.
It took time, patience, and a lot of testing – but it taught me that people recognize authenticity. If you stay consistent and lead with purpose, trust follows.
What’s next for Better Life Lab? Are there any new products or projects you’re particularly excited about?
What’s next is really exciting. We’re expanding into cellular health and longevity, with new formulas like Collagen + NAD, NAD+ injections, and a few other cutting-edge products designed to boost energy, focus, and recovery.
We’re also growing our subscription community and continuing to give back through TongueOut, our nonprofit.
The goal stays the same – to help people live longer, stronger, and with more purpose – one product at a time.
